Health update...

My Gastric Bypass Surgery has been moved. It WAS scheduled for June 12th, but due to other icky health things and the medication involved in addressing said health thing, I could not keep that date. I have requested July 10th and am waiting to hear back from the scheduler for my surgeon.
I am now up to the full dose of the Metformin and am also on the higher dose of Synthroid. Hopefully they will help with what they are supposed to help with.
The new Medication could screw some things up pretty good too. But even ON progesterone with no break the uncontrolled bleeding had started up again - so now I am on Megace (which is like supah uterus butt kickage stuff) for a month to stop the bleeding and get me off of hormones entirely well before the two week pre-surgery date. The one thing that concerns me is that Megace is one of the drugs given to people with Cancer and/or AIDS to help them *gain* weight. *sigh* So while the higher dose of Thyroid hormone is trying to get my metabolism to work where it should, and the Metformin is trying to get my body to actually process the insulin it creates - both having a HIGH possibility of helping me lose some weight - I am now on something that could make me GAIN..... argh. But I cannot be bleeding uncontrollably during my surgery - I am borderline anemic as it is.
So now we wait and see....
